Froch predicts boring match between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

English boxer Carl Froch believes the upcoming £ 200 million super fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will be boring.

The Cobra believes the fight will not be a classic when the two step inside the ring against each other at the fabled MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas this weekend because age has caught up with both the fighters. As a result, the World Boxing Association or WBA Super Middleweight champion has predicted a dull and timid affair between the two.

He said that he thinks Mayweather Jr. will clinch a very boring fight on points. He added that the American is 38 years old now and he might be undefeated but he has definitely slowed down a lot and it was visible in his last couple of fights. And the Cobra said that it is the same for Manny Pacquiao. He is 36 but he is not the young power hitter he was in his prime.

According to Froch, he wants the best man to win, the one who has trained the hardest and longest for the fight. He is the one who deserves to win it more than the other.
However, Froch believes it is Mayweather Jr. who will take the match simply because he is more technically efficient in his defence. Froch said that the American has proven time and time again that he is a better fighter and he will show it again against his arch nemesis.

The match between the two biggest Welterweight fighters of their generation has been in the making for a long time but fell through for one reason or the other. But finally, boxing fans will get to see the biggest showdown of this century when Manny Pacquiao takes on another legend in the form of Floyd Mayweather Jr.
